June 16th – Psalm 150

June 16th

Psalm 150

1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Pastor’s Thought

As we conclude our time in Psalms, we find it to be one of the greatest praise Psalms of all. I like to read this Psalm every Thanksgiving. I love the instruments that David describes how he praises the Lord. The last very sums it all up. “Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” We would be so much more fulfilled spiritually if we could just learn to praise our Lord. Praise the Lord today.

I have enjoyed posting blogs for our church people to follow. I will be taking the summer off and resuming this fall with another Book of the Bible. Until then, God Bless, Pastor Brian.
